This can be done with a resource hacker. FInd the file NTOSKRNL.EXE which is typcally found in the directory, C:\winnt\system32. (this depends on the method of installation.) You must create a 640×480 pixeled bitmap, saved as 16 color. Then use the resource hacker to replace the appropriate bitmap, and the screen changes. The best set of instructions (as well as the safest) can be found at http://www.littlewhitedog.com. They have detailed descriptions and even have the resource hacker to download… Good luck
