April Snow

Yesterday it snowed and the university closed. It didn’t really matter for me, because all of my classes were already done. However, the Grebel end of term banquet was yesterday and most of the kitchen staff was unable to make it in to the residence to help with banquet activities. So our house was called and the four of us that didn’t associate with Grebel this term decided to help out by doing dishes for the banquet in return for some food and a bit of money. It was a good time. We dressed up in our Wayne shirts from Home Hardware, listened to some Boney M and a cd I made of some classic 80s songs, got some cheers and “Hi Wanye”s from the current Grebel people that know us. It was too bad that we missed most of the talent show, but we were able to catch the last couple acts and we hung around for a bit of the dance. All together it was a good night.
