Working (and stuff)
14 May 2003
I’ve starting working regularly this week. I’m putting about six hours a day in at MCC. I’ve done a bit of documentation for a project I did last fall and now I’m learning some report writer program. Right now I’m a bit socially isolated as I’m up the library loft by myself. There is no room in the regular computer services area at the moment. However it a couple of weeks one guy is leaving and another is going on home leave. I’ll probably be moving then. Of course the computer services department is very small, that only leaves two others. Anyway, I’m finding that I want to do other things besides technical computer stuff when I get home from work. That could be a good thing for those that complained about too much technical, and not enough personal blog entries. This evening for instance I was out taking photographs again. I don’t think I got anything really good though. Photography doesn’t seem to be something that comes naturally for me. I wish it did, but it’s probably good that I learn to work for something. Sometimes I think things have been too easy and it’s made me either not work as hard as I should, or made me give up on things that aren’t as easy. But I don’t plan on giving up on photography. Anyway, I’m rambling now. Time to stop. Goodnight.
