Where The Streets Have No Cars

16 Aug 2003

On my street I’m guessing for each house the occupants have at least 2 cars and in most cases it is probably 3 or more. And a lot of people don’t seem to use their garage for their car, but instead fill it with junk. So usually the road I live on is packed with cars parked along the side. However on Wednesday they were re-paving the road, so everyone had to be off of it between 6 AM and 6 PM. A nearby business agreed to let people park in their parking lot. It was sort of cool to have no cars on the street and to see people walking by our house.
