Hotmail Storage Limit

20 May 2004

Just as a bunch of other email services are trying to catch up with Google and GMail in terms of storage limits, I get an email in my hotmail account stating:

if your e-mail account goes over the 2MB storage limit, it will be automatically frozen. That means:

• You won’t be able to send any e-mail messages

• All messages sent to you will bounce back without notification

And wow, for only $59.95/year I can get 100 MB.
