Last week my prof was telling me about Akamai and how they built a buisness around providing ISP level caching for some large businesses (including Apple). Interestingly I when searching for the new Lord of the Rings trailer I found this link: http://a772.g.akamai.net/…./returnoftheking_m480.mov.

Just thought I should comment a little more on the WWMX thing. It’s too bad it’s being run by Microsoft. There is at least a web client, but I doubt you’ll see a desktop client other than the .NET one. But I don’t think they’re doing it right anyway. People should just post their pictures [...]

First impression of CS 456. In case it changes, what I saw was a page saying “This page has moved!”. No indication of where it moved to. How stupid. At least point me to where I can now find the site.

It’s been just over a week since I moved into my new Grebel apartment. It is pretty sweet. I’ve lived two terms off campus in Waterloo and both times I had to do a lot of cleaning in order to make the place liveable. So I glad to be in a brand new place.
